The conversation starts before the enquiry
A prospect hears your company name from a friend, a supplier or a social post. Before contacting you, they search. They want to understand what you do, whether you serve businesses like theirs, and how to reach you. If those answers are scattered across old posts, the prospect has to assemble the story themselves. A useful website makes that first check straightforward. It gives your business a consistent place to explain its work.
Build around the questions people actually ask
Start with the questions your team answers every week. What is included? Who is the service for? What does the process look like? What information is needed for a quotation? Turn these into useful service pages with examples, clear scope and a contact route. Avoid filling the homepage with broad promises that could describe any company. A specific explanation of how you help is more useful than another claim to be innovative.
Give each channel a clear role
Social media is useful for discovery and conversation. WhatsApp is useful for quick questions. Your website can connect them by holding the information that needs to stay organised: services, product details, company information and support. Link campaigns to the relevant page instead of always sending everyone to the homepage. A person interested in a mobile app should land on a page explaining mobile development, not have to search through unrelated services.
Make a small first version genuinely useful
A strong first release can be a homepage, two detailed service pages, an about page and a contact page. Use real product images or appropriately licensed photographs, publish accurate details, and check the whole journey on a phone. Assign someone to review the information regularly. Measure whether enquiries are more relevant and whether your team spends less time repeating basic explanations. A website earns its place when it helps both the customer and the people answering them.
